International
The firm conducts its professional activities on a fully international scale, handling complex legal cases that extend beyond domestic borders and often involve letters rogatory, European investigation orders, extradition proceedings or investigations conducted by the European Public Prosecutor’s Office. It works regularly with colleagues in Europe and the United States, while also maintaining strong and well-established professional relationships with Latin America and several African and Asian countries. It maintains particularly strong ties with France and other Francophone jurisdictions. In terms of criminal compliance, the firm deals with cross-border models and acts as an international supervisory body for foreign companies.
Its international outlook is reflected also in its participation in leading supranational legal networks. In addition to being a member of lawyers’ associations within various global networks, Professor Luca Lupária Donati maintains academic relationships with leading universities across different continents and is frequently invited to speak at prestigious conferences and forums. He is a member, for example, of the Criminal Law Committee CCBE (The Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe), the International Association of Lawyers and the Red Juridica Europea y Iberoamericana.

Beyond the practice: the Centre for Comparative Justice
In addition to legal representation, the firm’s internal outlook is also reflected in a broad cultural and methodological approach based on openness and exchange between different legal systems.
The foundation of the firm’s Centre for Comparative Justice, located in Milan, via della Guastalla 15, is the conviction that procedural phenomena cannot be confined within the boundaries of individual national criminal justice systems, but are increasingly shaped by the dynamics of convergence and dialogue between different models.
